Reagan's passion for psychiatry has been shaped by both personal and family experiences. During nursing school, she completed a rotation on the pediatric unit at Mississippi State Hospital, where she developed a deeper understanding of the impact of trauma on mental health and the importance of compassionate, patient-centered care. Most recently, she worked at the University of Utah as a PACU/Procedural RN assisting with ECT treatments for patients experiencing conditions such as PTSD, major depressive disorder, OCD, and catatonia. During her PMHNP training, Reagan completed clinical rotations across several major healthcare systems in the Salt Lake Valley, including the Department of Veterans Affairs and Primary Children's Hospital.
Her clinical approach emphasizes trauma-informed, culturally responsive care and improving access to mental health services. She strives to create a supportive environment where patients feel safe, heard, and respected. Reagan also places a strong emphasis on psychoeducation, helping patients understand their diagnoses and treatment options so they can feel informed, empowered, and actively engaged in their care.
