Tawnya Crump is a second-year Master of Social Work student at the University of Utah. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Communications and Public Relations from the University of Utah. Since graduating, she has worked extensively with individuals in faith transitions, people with addiction, women’s issues, families, and the elderly, as well as counseling clients struggling with stress management, anxiety, and depression.
Tawnya believes life experiences, especially the difficult ones, are what make us who we are, and that sometimes, the most important growth comes through those hard times. She feels it a privilege to work with others as they navigate their struggles and come to a place of clarity, resilience, and inner peace.
In her free time, Tawnya enjoys going to comedy clubs, attending Broadway shows, riding her Vespa through the mountains, playing the piano, and spending time with her family and dog, Ollie.
