Diana is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern working toward licensure under supervision. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and is currently completing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through the University of the Cumberlands. Supporting individuals and relationships through life’s challenges has become her life’s work.
Diana believes in the power of connection, curiosity, and self-compassion as pathways to healing. She offers a warm, affirming space where clients can safely explore their experiences without fear of judgment. Her approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and attachment theory. She is particularly passionate about helping clients navigate trauma, anxiety, grief, identity development, and relational concerns.
Prior to entering the counseling field, Diana spent over a decade as a massage therapist and in various caregiving and advocacy roles. She is particularly drawn towards helping individuals moving through major life transitions—including those recovering from religious trauma, adjusting to new roles or identities, or reclaiming their voices after years of self-silencing.
Diana identifies as neurodiversity-affirming, LGBTQIA2+-affirming, and feminist in her therapeutic lens. She is committed to honoring the whole person—including spiritual or existential dimensions—and welcomes clients from all backgrounds and belief systems.
Outside the therapy room, Diana enjoys hiking, kayaking, deep conversations, and laughing with her close family and friends, which now includes her new puppy, Penny.
