DALLIN RENOUARD, CSW-I
MIDVALE & WEST JORDAN LOCATIONS |  ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
Dallin Renouard Midvale, Utah Therapist

Starting therapy can feel difficult, especially if you’re unsure what to say or worried about being judged. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, comfortable, and able to be honest. I believe that if something can be thought, it can be spoken- and explored with care.

Therapy is a journey we take together with openness, authenticity, and humor. We’ll look at challenges from new perspectives, develop practical skills, and build the confidence you need to move forward when you’re feeling stuck.

Dallin Renouard, CSW-I is completing his Master of Social Work at the University of Utah and expects to graduate in May 2027. Before entering the mental health field, he served in the Utah Army National Guard, worked in construction, and spent three and a half years training dogs for behavioral support, service, and therapy roles. These varied experiences shaped his grounded, practical, and compassionate approach to therapy.

During his practicum at Lumos Youth Counseling, Dallin provided individual, family, and group therapy to adolescents ages 11–17 in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. He supported young people and their families as they navigated complex emotional, behavioral, and relationship challenges.

Dallin enjoys working with people of varied ages, backgrounds, and life experiences. His collaborative approach combines emotional exploration with practical skill-building, mindfulness, and strategies for internal regulation. His work is informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mind-Body Bridging, grief therapy, and family-based approaches.

Outside of his clinical work, Dallin enjoys camping, exercising, paddleboarding, playing video games, spending time with his wife, and training and playing with his dogs.

"The first few sessions will focus on getting to know you, understanding what brought you to therapy, and identifying your goals. You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what to say. We can start with how you feel, sit quietly when needed, and move at a manageable pace.

Clients are the experts on their own experiences. My role is not to tell you who you are or what you should feel, but to offer support and perspectives that may be hard to see in the middle of a problem. Sessions may include emotional processing, practical skills, mindfulness, and steps toward your goals. Humor can be healing by reducing tension, creating connection, and providing relief when life feels heavy. No concern is too small or too large to bring into therapy." -Dallin Renouard
