Dr. Allison Cirenza, DNP, APRN, PMHNP is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. She also has a strong clinical interest in women’s mental health and is an affirming provider for the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent community. With over seven years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, Dr. Cirenza is committed to helping clients manage emotional, behavioral, developmental, and transitional challenges through evidence-based care.
She provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy, working closely with parents, caregivers, and individual clients to ensure each treatment plan is individualized, thoughtful, and responsive to each person’s needs. Her clinical approach is grounded in empathy, safety, and collaboration, creating a space where clients from all walks of life feel heard, respected, and supported.
Dr. Cirenza earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Utah and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Alabama. Originally from upstate New York, she now calls Utah home, where she enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and yoga in her free time.
