In accordance with Title 53, Chapter 5, Part 7, Concealed Firearms Act, the following weapons policy has been established:
- Prohibition of Weapons: Weapons of any kind, including but not limited to firearms, knives, explosives, and other potentially dangerous objects, are strictly prohibited within the premises of Life Stone Counseling Centers.
- Exceptions: Authorized personnel, such as law enforcement officers are exempt from this policy. Exemptions may also be given via express written permission from owners. With all exceptions, the weapon must be properly holstered or secured as per appropriate protocols.
- Communication & Enforcement: Information about this policy is communicated through client intake paperwork. Staff members who become aware of a potential violation of this weapons policy are required to report it to facility management immediately, who if handle appropriately and if necessary, will promptly notify law enforcement.
- Violations: Violation of this policy may result in immediate expulsion from the premises, possible discharge from treatment or employment and may be subject to legal action as per applicable laws.
