PREVENTION & CONTROL OF INFECTIOUS DISEASE
When deemed necessary through risk assessment or in coordination with and following any guidance of the state or local health authorities and/or the Center for Disease Control, Life Stone Counseling will implement the following appropriate responses:
- Hygiene and Sanitation Practices: Hand Hygiene is standard practice at Life Stone counseling, hand sanitizing stations are provided at the front desk, in staff areas and treatment rooms within the facility. During increased risk, Life Stone will Increase the frequency of cleaning for high-touch surfaces, use EPA-approved disinfectants.
- Implement Virtual Counseling. Encourage virtual counseling sessions where appropriate via our secure EMR platform. If able, In-person sessions will be prioritized for cases requiring face-to-face interaction.
- Blood & Bodily Substance Spills. Any blood or body substance spills are to be cleaned up, in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, to prevent employees/clients/families from becoming contaminated. If you encounter such a spill, ask for help to get it cleaned up appropriately.
SMOKING RULES
In compliance with Title 26B, Chapter 7, Part 5, Regulation of Smoking, Tobacco Products, and Nicotine Products the following policy has been established: Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas, including but not limited to lobbies, waiting rooms, hallways, treatment rooms, and restrooms. Additionally, smoking is not permitted within 25 feet of any entrance, exit, or ventilation intake of the facility.
