Elisa Warren joined Life Stone Counseling as a doctorate nurse practitioner (DNP-PMHNP) intern, and is currently attending the University of Utah’s Doctorate Nurse Practitioner program, specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health. She earned a Bachelor of Nursing at Westminster College. Elisa comes to Life Stone Counseling with diverse experience as she has spent her nursing career in a variety of roles focused on helping individuals and families heal from mental illnesses. She has over 5 year’s experience working in inpatient facilities.
While attending school, Elisa continues to work in an inpatient hospital helping individuals and families navigate the complex waters of hospitalization and how to navigate their life during and after the hospitalization. She has worked with adults and adolescents with complex and diverse backgrounds.
Elisa’s professional approach includes therapy modalities that are evidence-based and client-centered. She fosters an environment where empathy, compassion and safety are present. She is a client advocate and has a holistic perspective to healthcare and treatment.
