Emma is a second year Master’s of Social Work student at the University of Utah. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Utah State University in Communicative Disorders with a Minor in Family and Human Development.
Emma brings valuable prior experience as a clinical social worker
intern, having served as an outpatient therapist for individuals,
couples, and families. Additionally, she worked as a behavioral health technician in an intensive outpatient program, conducting exposure therapy sessions and facilitating DBT skills groups.While Emma has therapeutic experience with a wide variety of clients, she is particularly passionate about working teenagers and young adults. Through evidence-based practices, Emma aims to engage collaboratively with her clients, supporting their growth, as they gain confidence, learn and utilize new skills and navigate the healing process.
Emma loves hiking, rock climbing, being a Swiftie, taking care of houseplants, playing animal crossing, and spending time with loved ones. She is looking forward to opportunities for continued personal growth.
