THE FOLLOWING LEARNING OBJECTIVES WERE ACHIEVED:
1. Demonstrate how to develop an effective treatment plan and utilize best practices for identifying EMDR therapy targets.
2. Identify the signs a client with complex trauma and dissociation is properly prepared to move forward with the reprocessing phases of EMDR Therapy.
3. Identify three signs that a client is dissociating and name three skills to utilize during the reprocessing phases to help clients to maintain dual awareness during trauma reprocessing.
4. Name three ways to appropriately close an incomplete reprocessing session and three skills to utilize for client stabilization prior to leaving the session and between sessions.
