Monica Wisco, LCSW has extensive experience working with people from a variety of socioeconomic, ethnic and religious backgrounds. She specializes in outpatient therapy for children and adolescents who have experienced trauma. She received a Master's degree in Social Work from Boston College in 1998 and has worked in several mental health agencies, as well as run a private practice.
Monica has been extensively trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and is an Approved Consultant with the EMDR International Association, EMDR Facilitator for Trauma Recovery/EMDR HAP as well as the EMDR Institute. She provides consultation for those therapists who wish to improve their EMDR skills. She is also trained in providing treatment for anxiety, depression, life skills management, behavioral disorders, substance abuse, ADHD, and other mental health issues. Monica practices in the Utah County location.
