Jen is a Master’s level intern completing her degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Townsend Institute at Concordia University-Irvine. Jen utilizes a relational and collaborative approach with the client that emphasizes the therapeutic relationship and supports them as they heal.
With a strong relationship as a foundation, Jen offers encouragement while compassionately challenging her clients to identify what is causing them the most discomfort. Jen strives to help her clients see they are not defined by their struggles and that growth is always possible. Jen is genuine and caring and offers empathy through her own unique life experiences.
Jen works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem, women’s issues and trauma. She incorporates various therapeutic approaches including cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness practices.
