Daniel Muster Life Stone Counseling
"Peace doesn’t deny difficulty, but it has an inner calm and quietness even while enduring the difficulty.  -Glenn C. Stewart

My role as a therapist is to create a safe and authentic environment where each individual may develop a sense of empowerment, confidence, healing, and balance.  I love to help others claim the “inner calm and quietness” they seek as they navigate through life’s challenges."
Dan is a doctorate nurse practitioner (DNP-PMHNP) intern, and currently attends the University of Utah’s Doctorate Nurse Practitioner program, specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health.  Dan earned a Bachelor’s degree in both Neuroscience and Nursing at Brigham Young University.  Dan has loved his nursing career of 14 years as he has mostly worked at McKay-Dee hospital, treating those with medical, neurological, and mental illness.  Dan is excited to now focus on his passion to help individuals and families in the community heal from mental illness.

Dan applies evidenced based interventions in his practice including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness.  Dan will begin Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Neurofeedback (NFB) certification in 2020. Dan practices in the Salt Lake County location.
