My approach is holistic, person-centered, and goal-oriented. I believe you are the expert in your life, and that together we can work through negative thinking patterns and implement psychological tools for a healthy mindset and outlook on life.

Annie is in the last year of her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Concordia University. She grew up in Norway but received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Hawaii Pacific University in 2019.

She has traveled the world and been surrounded by a multitude of different cultures and people. As an immigrant, she knows how challenging it can be to move to a different country with a different culture. If she is not surfing waves (which is hard to do here in Utah), she is either climbing or hiking with her dogs in her spare time.

Annie has worked in healthcare for over a decade. Most recently as a Certified Life Coach and at an in-patient addiction treatment center here in Utah. In addition, she has worked with people with dementia, in psychiatry, as a peer mentor, as a junior high school teacher, and with sex offenders. These experiences have given her a wide range of exposure to different demographics, and mental health challenges. What is at the heart of it all is her passion to see lives transformed as they find purpose and become encouraged to face life’s challenges.
