Tequina is working toward the completion of her master's degree as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker; with a plan to provide therapy as a full time profession. Tequina has been working in various facets of mental health for over three years. She has worked with a wide variety of individuals including: adolescents, children, and adults. In addition she has spent time working with: survivors of trauma, individuals struggling with substance abuse, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, LGBTQ, families, individuals suffering from serious persistent mental illness, and those learning about Autism. She currently works as a psychiatric technician, at the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric Institute, offering services for those coping with life's hardships who are searching for direction, support, understanding, and a quiet ear. Tequina practices in the Salt Lake location.
