Life Stone’s Substance Abuse Recovery Program & Facility are State-licensed and ran by a team of seasoned therapists and specialists. 


  

  

Clinical Team Member:  Jimmie Long, MC, LPC

Jimmie supervises Life Stone's Licensed Substance Abuse Counselors (LSACs), and is a significant contributor to Life Stone's clinical programs for addiction recovery. He carry's out the team's treatment programs, supervises staff, and provides direct care in the form of assessment, group therapy, and provision of services in English and Spanish.

He has more than 24 years of experience working with recovering addicts, the mentally ill and domestic violence perpetrators in the Salt Lake Valley.

Jimmie is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He holds a Masters in Counseling Degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelors of Science in Sociology from the University of Utah. He is a certified instructor for the Prime for Life DUI program. Annually, he participates in the Utah Domestic Violence Conference and in the Utah Substance Abuse Conference; and completes monthly training with the Salt Lake County Substance Abuse AASAM Champions.



Program Director:  Mike O'Reilly

Mike is accountable for designing, implementing and managing the overall substance abuse rehabilitation program at Life Stone. He is directly accountable for client intake, interventions, friends & family relations, client services, and adherence to State Licensing policies & procedures.

Mike oversees Life Stone's PRIME for Life program, mandated by the State of Utah for all DUI offenses, and is the lead instructor for this program.

Previous to joining the management team at Life Stone, Mike successfully developed three other sauna-based substance abuse rehabilitation centers. He has been involved in substance abuse treatment for more than twenty years.





Admissions Supervisor:   Yuri Perez

Yuri is responsible for the assessment and program placement for all Life Stone clients. He provides direct care, facilitates group and is a significant contributor to each client's individual treatment plan. Yuri provisions services in both English and Spanish.

He is a Certified Instructor for the Strengthening Families Program at the University of Utah; a Prevention Specialist for the State of Utah; and a specialist in anger management, parenting, drug abuse prevention and tobacco cessation programs.

He is currently earning his Masters in Education at Utah State University. Yuri holds a Bachelors Degree in Community Health Education and Minor in Biology from Brigham Young University. In Argentina, Yuri is a General Medical Physician, with degrees in medicine, genetics and emergency medicine from the Universidad Nacional de Tucuman, Argentina.
