Life Stone's programs are State-licensed, and ran by a team of seasoned therapists and specialists.

Clinical Director:  Anastasia Pollock, LPC, NCC

Anastasia oversees all clinical efforts at Life Stone. She designs our clinical programs, supervises staff, and provides direct care in the form of individual therapy, assessment, couples & family therapy, and group therapy.

She has more than seven years of experience working with recovering addicts, the mentally ill, couples & families in crisis, and domestic violence perpetrators.

Anastasia is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She holds a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University in Maryland, and two Bachelors Degrees from the University of Utah--one in Psychology and one in Sociology. She also holds a Certificate in Criminology and Corrections from the University of Utah.  Annually, she participates in the Utah Domestic Violence Conference and in the Utah Substance Abuse Conference.

  

Program Director:  Corey Markisich, LSAC

Corey oversees all client and family relations efforts at Life Stone. He is accountable for client intake, interventions, client services, friends & family relations, court services, and adherence to State Licensing policies & procedures.

He also oversees Life Stone's PRIME for Life program, mandated by the State of Utah for all DUI offenses.

Previous to joining the management team at Life Stone, Corey successfully developed substance abuse programs at several non-profit organizations. He has been involved in substance abuse treatment for more than eight years.

Corey is a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor. He holds a Bachelors in Finance from the University of Utah. He completed his graduate studies and became a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor in the College of Social Work at the University of Utah. Annually, he participates in the Utah Substance Abuse Conference. He was a contributor to the Useasdirected.org program, which the Utah State Legislature established to reduce deaths and other harm from prescription opiates.
