Medical Insurance Biller / Office Manager

Must show solid ability to:

1.     Manage and execute all aspects of medical insurance billing and financial tracking.


2.     Organize and coordinate office operations, procedures and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

3.     Attend to visitors, clients and their families on the phone and face-to-face.

4.     Supply information regarding the organization to the general public, clients and our network of service partners.

 

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

1.     Compile, submit, collect and track all insurance and direct-pay billing for all clients.


2.    Manage company financial systems, including AP/AR, payroll and all other company receipts and expenses.


3.    Answer telephone, and receive walk-in visitors and clients at our facilities.

4.     Understand potential client and client inquiries to appropriately screen and direct calls; provide pre-sales information on our programs and services; and/or take and relay messages.

5.     Ensure knowledge of staff and client movements in and out of facility.

6.     General administrative, clerical and maintenance support.

7.     Prepare letters and documents; receive and sort mail and deliveries.

8.     Schedule and manage appointments.

9.     Tidy and maintain the professional environment of the facility.

 

Education and Experience

1.     High school diploma required.

2.     Minimum 4 years of medical insurance billing, electronic medical records management, and financial processes. 

3.     Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications; and keyboard skills.

4.     Knowledge of administrative and customer service principles and practices.
