MEGAN EYERE, CSW-I
"I have developed such a love for helping others see their worth and the strengths they already possess. I strive to empower clients in taking control of their life, using their voice, and finding power within themselves. Ultimately, I want to be and create a safe space for individuals to process their trauma and everyday challenges. I am committed to helping clients on their journey towards healing and finding joy.”
Megan is a creative, positive, and empathetic individual who is passionate about letting people know they are seen and worthwhile. She uses a strengths-based approach to draw on strengths the client already possesses and incorporate additional skills and tools to help the client combat life’s challenges. She believes that the client holds the answers to enact the change they want to see. She desires to empower and work alongside them to discover those answers in order for them to begin living the life they envision. Her primary goal as a therapist is to create an environment of safety, authenticity, belonging, and connection. She believes that when we are able to hold space for love and connection with ourselves and others, we open the door for growth, opportunities, and true joy.

Megan views clients through a multi-cultural, client-centered lens. She believes that therapy is not a one size fits all mentality. She enjoys helping others find what works for them and pursuing individualized treatment plans that best suit each client. Megan understands how important this journey of hope and healing is for the client and wants to remain competent. She will engage in continued learning and growth through personal study, research, and attending a variety of trainings to maintain current knowledge on effective therapeutic modalities and treatment.

Megan has spent most of her time practicing trauma-informed care with individuals and families who are survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse. Her work has consisted of doing crisis intervention, teaching positive coping strategies, and connecting clients with community resources to assist with the repercussions of trauma. Megan specializes in working with adolescents and helping them incorporate skills to combat their various forms of mental, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

Megan graduated with her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Utah Valley University. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Work from Utah Valley University with a clinical mental health emphasis and will graduate in the Spring of 2021.
