2. Collaborate with therapists on psycho-social assessment, treatment planning, advocacy skills and case management.
3. Possess excellent written, interpersonal and oral communication skills.

5. Function on an interdisciplinary treatment team.
6. Demonstrate an understanding, sensitivity and ability to serving a culturally diverse population.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Comply with State of Utah code of ethics and HIPPA policies and procedures.
2. Consult with clinical director, program director, and other senior-level staff on the client treatment team.
3. Collaborate on initial evaluation and client intake interviews.
4. Collaborate on the development, implementation and modification of client treatment plans.
5. Carry out case management services related to client’s treatment
6. Maintain an active caseload, providing individual and group substance abuse counseling.
7. Complete all required written and computer-based documentation on client and group progress in a timely manner.
Education and Experience
1. Be licensed as a substance abuse counselor (LSAC) in the State of Utah.
2. Preference given to candidates with experience in social work, counseling, psychology or related fields.
3. Preference given to State-licensed social workers, Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT).
4. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
5. Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications; and keyboard skills.
6. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
