JENNIFER MIDDLETON, ACMHC-I
Jennifer Middleton Salt Lake Therapist

“I have so much respect for clients who show up courageously wanting to work hard and transform their pain. I believe that being in a safe, welcoming environment where you feel truly heard is vital to healing and growth. I work diligently to create a compassionate, judgment-free space full of empathy where we can work together to reach your therapeutic goals. I fully recognize that life is full of challenges and hardships, but I believe it is also meant to be enjoyed.”

Jen is a Master’s level intern completing her degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Townsend Institute at Concordia University-Irvine. Jen is passionate about working with teens, adults and couples and strives to provide the right balance between compassion and accountability. Jen utilizes a relational and collaborative approach with the client that emphasizes the therapeutic relationship and supports them as they heal.

With a strong relationship as a foundation, Jen offers encouragement while compassionately challenging her clients to identify what is causing them the most discomfort. Jen strives to help her clients see they are not defined by their struggles and that growth is always possible. Jen is genuine and caring and offers empathy through her own unique life experiences.

Jen works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem, women’s issues and trauma. She incorporates various therapeutic approaches including cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness practices. Jen develops an individualized plan specific to the client’s needs and believes the client is the real driver behind their therapy.

Jen practices in both the Salt Lake and Utah County locations.
